ANSA McCAL is the largest conglomerate in the Caribbean. Their paint division services every corner of the region with much- beloved homegrown brands in almost every hardware store.
In 2021, the division launched ColourShop – its own storefront franchise to compete with international retailers like Sherwin Williams. Customers would now get an inclusive and immersive shopping experience beyond their local hardware. But the launch campaign left consumers confused. Enter: a robust brand awareness drive.
I pulled out the “O” from the existing logo. It would be used to create a visual focal point. Bold and umistakable typography kept messages clear and digestible – easily flexed from OOH to trade to digital – and 3D models of paint buckets and tools left little room for questioning.
